Mr. Zhimin Li of Wuhan, China, announces the engagement of his daughter, Yifiei Evelyn Li, to Thaddeus Jason Riley, Esq., son of Drs. Thad and Susan Riley of Statesboro, Georgia.
    Evelyn is also the daughter of the late Mrs. Yulin Zhan. She graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University in China, with a Bachelor's in English Literature and an LL.B. degree in law in 2010, and received an LL.M. in intellectual property law from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C.  Evelyn is currently employed with the Federal Circuit Bar Association and the law firm of Stein McEwen LLP as a legal intern.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Barbara and the late Mr. Edward Braun of Statesboro and of Mrs. Faye and the late Mr. Thaddeus Riley of Swansea, South Carolina.  He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Georgia, with a Bachelor's degree in International Business and a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs. Jason received his Juris Doctorate from Florida State Law School, with specialization in International Law in 2010. He currently serves as attorney advisor to the honorable Judge Thomas P. McCarthy at the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission.
    The couple is planning to wed on May 26, 2012, at Saint Mathews Catholic Church at 3 p.m. A reception will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Belle House in Statesboro. Invitations will be sent.
    The couple will reside in the Washington, D.C., area after their wedding.
