Ricky Lester Law and the former Nancy Ruth Young Law of Perry announce the engagement of their daughter, Christen Amanda Law, to Timothy Edward Redding Jr. The future groom is the son of Timothy Edward Redding Sr. of Metter and Robyn Poppell Meglin of Savannah.
    Miss Law is a 2004 graduate of The Westfield Academy in Perry and received her Master's of Education, Community Counseling and Counselor Education from Georgia Southern University in 2010. She is a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and a Chi Sigma little sister.
    Mr. Redding is a 2000 graduate of David Emanuel Academy and studied business administration at Georgia Southern University.
    The couple will be married at The First Baptist Church in Statesboro on June 18, 2011, surrounded by all their family and friends.
    After their honeymoon, they will build their new life together and reside in their new home in Pooler.
