Ms. Nancy Knight of Covington, Ga., announce the engagement of her daughter, Ms. Gina Knight of Covington, Ga., to Mr. Ken Harville, son of Mr. Kenneth and June Harville.
    The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Mr. Michael Knight of Covington and is the granddaughter of Mrs. Retha Bone and the late Mr. James E. Bone of Covington. She is also the granddaughter of the late Mr. Relious L. and Geneva Knight of Covington. Gina is a 2000 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management and a minor in Business. She also holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University and is currently pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Early Childhood Education at Georgia Southern University. She is employed by the Bulloch County Board of Education and works as a kindergarten teacher at Mill Creek Elementary.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Adams. He is also the grandson of Mrs. Ahmetta Harville and the late Mr. Terrell Joseph Harville Sr. Ken is a graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southern University. He is currently pursuing an Associate’s degree from South University in Savannah, Ga., in Physical Therapy Assisting and is employed with Optim Healthcare at the Doctor’s Hospital in Tattnall County, Ga.
    The couple has planned to wed on June 16, 2012, at 3 p.m. at The RIU Palace Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
    A local reception is being planned for the couple’s return to Statesboro, with details to be forthcoming.
