Mr. and Mrs. Alan Knight of Brooklet, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Lynn Knight of Brooklet, to Shaun David Brooks, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Lane and Mr. David Brooks of Snellville, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Mrs. Margaret Williams and the late Mr. AJ Williams and is the paternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Franklin D. Knight. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Agnes Evans. Jessica is a 2005 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and attended Georgia Southern University. She is currently residing and employed in Lawrenceville, Ga.
    The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of Mr. Ray  Coker and Mrs. Joan Smith and is the paternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Brooks. Shaun is a 2004 graduate of Brookwood High School and is a 2008 cum laude graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Management. He is preparing to leave for basic training in the U.S. Army.
    The couple has planned to wed on March 20, 2010, at 3 p.m. at the Robbins Nest.
