Margaret Lane Biggs and Elwin Kennedy were married on August 25th, 1961, at Clayton P. Miller United Methodist Church in Savannah, Georgia. They resided in Savannah, where they raised their two sons, Elwin B. Kennedy (Malissa) of Savannah and William A. "Bill" Kennedy Sr. (Leslie) of Middleburg, Fla. They are the proud grandparents of Jacquelyn E. Kennedy (Elwin) and William A. "Bill" Kennedy Jr. Elwin retired as an engineer with Norfolk Southern Railroad. Lane retired as vice president of Savannah Technical Institute. In 1996, Lane and Elwin moved to Bulloch County, Ga.  They are avid golfers and members of Forest Heights Country Club and Pittman Park United Methodist Church. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with their children and grandchildren on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
