Christina Alexis Jenkins and Douglas Hugh Harrell Jr.

    Lindy and Kytrena Wilson and Lewis and Sybil Jenkins, all of Millen, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Christina Alexis Jenkins, to Douglas Hugh Harrell Jr., son of Doug and Karen Harrell, all of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Harold Martin and Julia Martin, the late James Tapley, all of Wrightsville, the late Alex and Minnie Lou Jenkins and the late Woodrow Wilson and Sarah Wilson, all of Millen. Christina is a 2004 honor graduate of Jenkins County High School and a 2008 graduate of Georgia Southern University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She is currently employed at Reddick, Riggs, Hunter and Kennedy, P.C. in Statesboro as an accountant.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Willie and Irene Harrell, the late Sara Ann Nichols, all of Statesboro, and Huey and Pat Nichols of Douglas. Doug is a 2004 graduate of Statesboro High School and a 2009 graduate of Georgia Regional Police Academy. He is currently employed at Bulloch County Sheriff's Office in Statesboro as a deputy sheriff.
    The couple has planned to wed on November 26, 2011, at the Belle House in Statesboro at five thirty in the evening with the reception immediately following.
    No formal invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited to attend.
