Mr. and Mrs. Julian Michael Wallace

    Erica Diana Hunter of Statesboro became the bride of Julian Michael Wallace of Brooklet during a 3 p.m. ceremony on July 30, 2011, at the Merrywood Baptist Church of Statesboro. The Rev. Will Griffith officiated.
    The bride is the daughter of Gary and Vickie Hunter of Ochlocknee, Georgia, and is the granddaughter of Lawrence and Dorothy Hunter of Pavo, Georgia, and Mrs. Elsie and the late Max R. Lamb of Thomasville, Ga.
    The groom is the son of Mike and Donna Wallace of Brooklet and is the grandson of Wayne Wallace of Savannah, Simmons and Sara Hadden of Pooler and Jean Worthington of Reidsville.
    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a modified Maggie Sottero sheath gown with a lace-up closure in diamond white over gold featuring an embellished Venetian lace overlay and scallop-edged hemline. The dress also featured a sleeveless lace bolero jacket. The bride wore a fingertip veil edged in beading and crystals that matched the beading on the gown and carried a bouquet of green cymbidium orchids, peacock feathers, Veronica and green berries.
    Cetoria Tomberlin of Rome, Ga., served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Holly Hunter of Dallas, Texas, sister of the bride; and Jaklyn Edelstein of Pooler.     The attendants wore capri blue knee-length A-line dresses and carried bouquets of irises, cymbidium orchids, Veronica and peacock feathers.
    The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Dustin Williams of Statesboro and Phil Murphy of Pooler.
    Mrs. Margie Griffith coordinated the wedding ceremony. Miranda Moore of Valdosta and Rebecca Mintz of Thomasville served as greeters. Wayne Morgan, David Breevoort and Sean White, all of Statesboro, served as ushers. Music was provided  by John Wolters and  Joe Sconyers of
Statesboro.
    Following the ceremony, the reception took place at Beaver Creek Plantation in Twin City and was hosted by Kevin and Diana Kalinowski of Dallas, Texas, aunt and uncle of the bride.
    The couple enjoyed a weekend stay at the Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah, followed by a honeymoon in Estes Park, Colorado.
    The couple is making their home in Brooklet.
