Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Welch of Millen and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Holton of Perkins are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Leigh Holton, to Dobson Moran Gay III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dobson M. Gay Jr. of Garfield.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Josie H. Womack of Millen and the late Ernest Womack, Mrs. Marine G. Holton of Perkins and the late James C. Holton. Miss Holton is a 2003 graduate of Jenkins County High School and a 2007 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College, with a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She is employed by Emanuel Medical Center as a sonographer. She is a member of West Millen Baptist Church.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy R. Dailey, the late Mr. and Mrs. Dobson M. Gay Sr. and the late Mrs. Ruth G. Gay. Mr. Gay is a 1995 graduate of Jenkins County High School and a 1998 graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, with a degree in Forestry. He is a farmer and part-time crop adjuster for Rural Community Insurance Services. He is a member of Elam Baptist Church and South Jenkins Volunteer Fire Department.
    The couple will wed June 16, 2012, at 6 o’clock at Elam Baptist Church in Millen. A reception will immediately follow at the Millen Community House.
