Lauryn Ashley Higgins became the bride of Michael Joseph Sack during a Saturday, November 10th, 2012, ceremony held in Orleans Square in Savannah, Ga. Lawton Sack of Statesboro, cousin of the groom, officiated.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Higgins of Statesboro. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus E. Sack of Tennille, Ga.
    During the ceremony, music was provided by JL Music String Quartet.
    Jennifer Scott served as her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Terrell, Diana Pruitt, Ashley Webb and Kelsey Pruitt. Peyton Sack of Midway, Ga., niece of the groom, served as flower girl.
    Marc Sack served as his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Marcus Sack, Jeffery Higgins, Trey Binion and Casey Phillips. Michael Daniels, Ty Dickey and Patrick Norris served as ushers. Hayden Scott of Statesboro, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
    Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents, Jim and Leslee Higgins, hosted a reception at the Hyatt Regency in the Harborside Center Ballroom on Riverstreet in Savannah. Music was provided by The Tams Band.
    The couple will honeymoon on St. Martin in the Caribbean and will make their home in Statesboro.
