Carroll "Khaki" and Peggie Herrington celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Friday, June 10th, 2011, at a reception hosted by their daughter, Kathy, and husband, Jimmie DeLoach. They were married at a home wedding in Waynesboro, Georgia, on June 8, 1951. Khaki is retired from Cooper-Wiss, where he was the employee relations manager. Peggie is retired from Caldwell Banker, where she was a sales associate. They have one daughter, Kathy, and her husband, Jimmie DeLoach. Their grandchildren are Matt (Jessica) DeLoach and Adam DeLoach; and they have one great-granddaughter, McCall DeLoach. In their retirement, Khaki enjoys playing golf and reading, while Peggie enjoys gardening and playing bridge.
