    Mr. and Mrs. Wayne and Rachel Harper of Monroe, Georgia, and Mr. and Mrs. Craig and Jan Hudson of Covington, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison June "Alli" Harper, to Jack B. "J." Brannen IV, both of Athens, Georgia.
    Miss Harper is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Riley and Alice Harper of Snellville, Georgia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack and June Stallings of Conyers, Georgia. The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of George Walton Academy in Monroe, Georgia, and is a 2009 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a BBA in marketing. She is public relations coordinator for Auxiliary Services at the University of Georgia in Athens.
    Mr. Brannen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack B. "Breck" and Lisa Brannen III and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Sara Overlander and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack B. and Bernice Brannen Jr., all of Statesboro. The groom-elect is a 2003 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and is a 2013 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in construction management. He is employed as construction engineer with Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, Atlanta office.
    Alli and J. will marry June 27, 2015, at 10 a.m. in Braselton, Georgia.
