    Mr. Gary Hadden of Metter and Ms. Jeanette Hadden of Brooklet announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Hadden of Brooklet, to Josh Brannen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lehman and Sharon Brannen of Register.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Claude Hadden and Mrs. Dorothy Hadden of Metter and Mr. Bill Craft of Milledgeville, Georgia. Kelly is a 2009 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and is a 2013 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. She is currently enrolled in nursing school.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. Mike and Mrs. Gladys Brannen of Register and the late Mr. Wilbur Lanier of Nevils and Ms. Dorothy Lanier of Metter. Josh is a 2007 graduate of Statesboro High School and is a 2009 graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC). He is currently self-employed as a fourth generation farmer in Register.
    The couple plans to wed on May 9, 2015, at 5 p.m. at Beaver Creek Plantation in Twin City.
