Paul and Connie Ewing of Sylvania are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Marie Ewing, to Clayton Alan Best, son of Alan and Debra Best of Twin City.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Neva Howard of Sylvania and the late Cecil Howard and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Ewing of Albany. She is a 2002 honor graduate of Screven County High School and attended GC & SU, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She received a Bachelor's degree from GC&SU in 2006 and a Master's degree in Public Administration from GC&SU in 2008. She is employed as a math teacher and cheerleading coach at Metter High school.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. B.S. "Dutch" Brinson of Twin City and Mrs. Olin M. Best of Statesboro and the late Mr. Best. He is a 2000 honor graduate of Emanuel County Institute and attended GC&SU, where he was a member of the golf team. He received a Bachelor's degree from GC&SU in 2006 and Master's degree in Public Administration from GC&SU in 2008. He is employed with Claxton Poultry in Claxton.
The wedding has been planned for June 19, 2010, at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Sylvania.
A reception will follow at the home of Mitchell and Kim Durden of Sylvania.
