Mr. and Mrs. Joe F. Cox Jr. of Louisville, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Georgia Harriet Cox of Louisville, Ga.,  to Daniel Lee Starling, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Harry Starling of Brooklet, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Virginia Williams and the late Mr. G.T. Williams of Moxley, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe F. Cox Sr. of Louisville, Ga. Georgia is a 2004 graduate of Jefferson County High School and is a 2009 graduate of Georgia Southern University. She is currently attending GSU to obtain a Master's degree in Middle Grades Education.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shaver and the late Mrs. Ann Shaver of Brooklet and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Starling of Brooklet. Daniel is a 2001 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and is currently employed by the Bulloch County Correctional Institute.
    The couple has planned to wed on May 29, 2010, at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Louisville.
