Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Counts of Statesboro, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Karis Counts of Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Benjamin Ferrell Coppedge of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Coppedge of Marietta, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Leonard H. Bullock of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Counts of Denver, N.C. Anna graduated from Bulloch Academy and has a degree in Education from the University of Georgia in Athens. She is presently employed by Village Seven Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs, Colo.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lamar E. Hood of Orlando, Florida, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James A. Coppedge Jr. of Atlanta, Ga. Ben has a BS in Political Science from UGA as well as earning an MA in Public Administration in 2006 from UGA. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphi, Pa.
    The couple has planned to wed on May 28 at 5 p.m. at the Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Athens, Ga.
