James Mike Collins of Statesboro and Karla Andrews Collins of Glennville announce the engagement of their daughter, Karoline Collins of Glennville, to Victor Chad Ivester, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ivester.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ralph and Joyce Andrews. Karoline will graduate this May from Georgia Southern University with her Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Joe and Trudy Nichols and the late J.M. Ivester. He attended North Georgia College and State University and is currently serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise.
    The couple has planned to wed on May 8, 2010, at 5 p.m. at the Glennville First Baptist Church.
    All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
