Mr. and Mrs. Stephen W. Cartee of Statesboro, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Rose Cartee, to Michael Anthony Holsonback, son of Colonel (Ret.) and Mrs. John K. Holsonback of Charleston, South Carolina.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jean S. Cartee of Statesboro and the late W. Joshua Cartee and J. Huston Costlow of Statesboro and the late Alma C. Costlow.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Frances Ellis of Evans, Georgia, and the late Mr. William Butler and the late Mr. and Mrs. Anton Gmeinwieser of Munich, Germany.
    The couple has planned an outdoor wedding on October 15, 2011, at 6 p.m. under the gazebo at Snella's Place, with the reception immediately following the ceremony in Snella's banquet room.
