On May 20, 2017, Andrew Miller “Drew” Hartley proposed to Rebekah Leigh Beasley at the lighthouse on Tybee Island. She said "yes."
The proposal was followed by a surprise engagement party at The Chart House in Savannah and attended by family and friends from all over the country. The party was hosted by the groom-elect.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald A. Beasley Jr. of Statesboro and the late Beth Barnes Beasley. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Barnes of Monroe, Georgia, and Mr. Reginald A. Beasley Sr. and the late Jacqueline Beasley of Statesboro. Rebekah is a graduate of Bulloch Academy and the University of Georgia, where she earned a degree in agriculture business. She is employed by Rain and Hail Insurance Services as a field marketing representative in Memphis, Tennessee.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rocker Hartley of Metter and is the grandson of Mr. Rex Hartley and the late Ereline Hartley of Metter and Mrs. Annette Miller and the late Wrex Miller of Meldrim, Georgia. Drew attended Metter High School and Georgia Southern University, earning a degree in construction management. He is employed by Grinder, Taber and Grinder Commercial Construction as a project manager/estimator in Memphis.
The couple is planning a Savannah wedding for the fall of 2018.
