Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey B. Beasley announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Gibbins Beasley, to Marshall Garrett Deal, son of Mr. Randy Deal and Ms. Debbie Davies Deal.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William O. Lewis and Mr. and Mrs. Donnie B. Beasley and is the great-granddaughter of the late Oscar and Wilma Lewis and Lucille Lindsay and the late Joe and Lorie Beasley. She attended Southeast Bulloch High School and is currently attending Ogeechee Technical College, where she is pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Wyman Deal and Mrs. Jean Deal and the late Eugene Davies and Mrs. Marian Davies Sowell and is the great-grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Deal and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rushing and the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Davies, the late Louie Lee and Mrs. Stella Donahue. He attended Statesboro High School and is currently employed with First District RESA.
    The couple has planned to wed on December 17, 2011, at 3 p.m. at the Lanes Primitive Baptist Church.
