Annette Rushing and Robert "Bobby" Bailey celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 21, 2014, over the weekend with their family. Mr. and Mrs. Bailey were married June 21, 1964, at the First Baptist Church in Statesboro, Ga., by the late Dr. J. Robert Smith. Robert and Annette have two children, daughter Candi Bailey and son Dr. Robert Glenn Bailey Jr. (wife Kelli), and son-in-law John Allen Smith. The couple has been blessed with three grandchildren: Caitlin Smith, Trace Bailey and Stone Bailey.
