Mr. and Mrs. Marty Anderson of Statesboro, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Lynn Anderson, to Hank Garrett McKinney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hank McKinney of Stilson, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.G. Hotchkiss of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. John E. Anderson of Hopeulikit, Ga., Mrs. Doris Small of Newington, Ga., and the late Mr. Charles Small. She is also the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Emma Smith of Hopeulikit. Jessica is a 2002 honor graduate of Bulloch Academy and attended Ogeechee Technical College, where she graduated in 2008 with an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Francis Meeks of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the late Mr. and Mrs. J.D. "Boe" McKinney of Stilson and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Lowe of Brooklet, Ga. Garrett is a 2002 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and attended Ogeechee Technical College, where he graduated in 2007 with an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts.
    The couple has planned to wed on April 30, 2011, in an outdoor ceremony at 6 o'clock in the evening.
