Ashley and Amy Alderman of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Haley Alderman of Statesboro, to Ryan Kirkland, son of Karl Kirkland and Sue Williams.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Max and Rhonda Alderman and Carson and Doris Deal and is also the great-granddaughter of Willodean and the late Ralph Forrester and Dorothy and the late Robert Donaldson. Haley is a 2020 graduate of Statesboro High School and is employed at Mattie Lively Elementary School.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Patricia and Gregory Kirkland and Otis and the late Nita Williams. Ryan is a 2020 graduate of Statesboro STEAM and is employed at The Connections Apartments.

The couple is planning to wed on Nov. 6, 2021, at 4 p.m. at 6158 Middleground Road in Statesboro.
