Mr. and Mrs. Osey Fail Jr. of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Brooke Alberson of Statesboro, to John Marc Grayson Ellis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Grayson Ellis.
    The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Lynn Alberson Fail of Statesboro and is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Alberson Jr. of Cobbtown, Georgia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Osey Fail Sr. of Statesboro. Kayla is a 2007 graduate of Statesboro High School and graduated from Ogeechee Technical College with a dental assisting diploma in 2008. She is currently employed at Wall Orthodontics of Statesboro.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Paul Ellis of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Wilton Kirby of Statesboro. Marc is a 2005 graduate of Statesboro High School and is employed with Ellis & Sons Farm in Hopeulikit.
    The couple has planned to wed on Saturday, March 7, at 5 p.m. at Dutch Ford Farm.
