Matthew and Janet Welsh of St. Marys and Keith Tindall of Hilliard, Fla., announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Candace Nichol Tindall, to Brian Anthony Kent, son of Judi Robbins of Statesboro and Russell Kent of Savannah.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Donald Jones and the late Georgia Jones of Albuquerque, N.M., and Leon and Mildred Pierce of Nacgodoches, Texas, and Howard and Willie Tindall of San Augustine, Texas. Candace is a 2001 graduate of Camden County High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Georgia Southern University. Miss Tindall is currently pursuing dental school and is employed as a dental assistant at the office of Dr. Hudson Powell, DMD.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Barbara Fox of Statesboro and the late Robert Fox of Mobile, Ala., and Sarah Kent and the late Stanley Kent of Mobile, Ala. Brian is a 1996 graduate of Statesboro High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Georgia Southern University. Mr. Kent is the owner of BAK Builders, LLC in Statesboro.
The wedding is planned for October 13, 2007, at 5:30 in the evening at Georgia Southern Botanical Gardens in Statesboro. A reception will follow at the home of Drs. Gary and Debbie Edwards.
