Shani Marie Smith and Benjamin Jarrett Lee were united in marriage on July 1, 2006, at the First United Methodist Church of Panama City, Fla.
The bride is the daughter of Col. and Mrs. David W. Smith of Lynn Haven, Fla., and is the granddaughter of Mrs. William C. Smith of Hampton, Va., and Mr. Gail H. Wagar and the late Ceil Wagner of Lynn Haven, Fla.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Lee of Bulloch County and is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Lee Jr. of Stilson and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Buie of Nevils.
The celebrant of the double-ring ceremony was the Rev. David Warren. The music was provided by pianist/soloist Carissa Hosea, Mary Beth Frank, organist Susan Turnage and soloist John Stitt.
The bride was escorted by her father. Cassie Commander, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Brudniki, Lauren Harper, Allison Humphrey, Michelle Kennedy, Amy Lee, Desiree Nestler, Jaclyn Pittman, Lauren Popwell, Marcelle Rhodes, Diane Stewart and Shanun White.
The groom’s best man was his father, Chuck Lee. Groomsmen were Charlie Commander, Charles Griffis, Philip Justiss, Martin Killgallon, Alex King, Gerald Lanier, Joseph Lanier, Wesley Lee, Gabe Lee, John Lee and Greg Sikes.
Camryn Commander, niece of the bride, was the flower girl and Bradley Vickers was the ring bearer.
After the ceremony, guests were invited to a reception at the Panama City Country Club.
