Mr. and Mrs. Ray Robbins of Statesboro announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Candi Robbins of Statesboro, to John Partridge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Derek Partridge of Hephzibah, Ga.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eugene and Kathleen Mincey of Brooklet and the late Bobby Robbins and the late Inman and Joyce Olliff of Statesboro. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Ben and Nora Barnwell and the late Truman and Queen Mincey, all of Brooklet, the late Jack and Billie Beasley and the late Sam and Nan Robbins, all of Statesboro. Candi is a 2002 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and will graduate in May with a Bachelor’s degree in Interrelated Special Education from Augusta State University. She plans to pursue a Master’s in Teaching from Georgia Southern University beginning August 2008.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Buddy and Rosa Marks and William and Jane Partridge, all of Hephzibah. He is the great-grandson of the late John and Mary Bates of Hephzibah, the late Ernest and Annie Partridge of Lincolnton, Ga., the late Frank and Mattie Hemrick and the late Trotter and Thelma Marks, all of Hephzibah. John is a 2003 graduate of Westminster Preparatory School. He is a 2005 graduate of Truett-McConnell College and a December 2007 graduate of Augusta State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. John is employed with Marks Clearing and Grading of Hephzibah.
The couple has planned to wed on June 28, 2008, at 5 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Nevils.
