Pamela Parrish Childs of Statesboro announces the engagement of her daughter, Angela Christine Potter, to Frank Daniel Lord Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Daniel Lord Sr.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Burton Brown Childs of Statesboro and is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Wayne Parrish Sr. of Columbia, S.C. She was a graduate of Statesboro High School, attended Stratford School of Arts and is a graduate of Ogeechee Tech. She is a freelance artist and is employed with H.W. Smith Jewelers.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Lonnie E. Lord Sr. and the late Claudia Lord. He was a graduate of Statesboro High School. He is employed with Frontier Communications.
The couple has planned to wed during a garden ceremony on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the home of the bride’s sister.
