Lindsay Danielle Lanier Eric James McElveen
     Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Wayne Lanier of Savannah announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Danielle Lanier of Savannah, to Eric James McElveen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Shawn McElveen.
      The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Patsy G. Nettles, Roy I. Nesbitt Sr. and Clayton M. Lanier and is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Miriam Brinson and the late Clee Clifton. She is a 2006 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and is currently attending Armstrong Atlantic State University, where she is studying Radiation Therapy. She is employed with Victoria Secret.
      The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James McKinney and Mr. and Mrs. Gene McElveen, all of Brooklet. A 2003 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School, he is a specialist with the U.S. Army National Guard, having served in O.I.F. III. He is employed with Memorial Health University Medical Center as a security officer.
      The couple has planned to wed on December 6, 2008, at 6 p.m. at Snella's Place in Statesboro.
      No local invitations are being sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
