Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kersey of Brooklet announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Kersey, to Brad Watkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Watkins of Marietta.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin R. Shannon of Savannah and the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude Kersey of Sylvania. Erin is a 2003 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and a 2006 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College with a diploma in Forensic Science. She is currently enrolled in East Georgia College working towards a degree in Criminal Justice.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Jimmy Watkins and the late Mr. Jimmy Watkins of Forsyth and Mr. William Mull and the late Mrs. William Mull of Rome. Brad is a 2002 graduate of North Cobb High School and will be a 2008 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Geography.
The couple plan to wed on May 31, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Statesboro First United Methodist Church. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
