Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Holt of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Rebecca Holt, to William Rhett Hickman III, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Rhett Hickman Jr. of Statesboro.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Wade Lupin of Eastman and the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris Wesley Holt of Mountain City. Rebecca is a graduate of Statesboro High School and is currently pursuing an education degree at Georgia Southern University.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Maude Fail Ray and the late Julian Luther Ray of Bloomingdale and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Rhett Hickman Sr. of Statesboro. Rhett is a graduate of Statesboro High School and Georgia Southern University, where he earned a bachelor of business administration in finance. He is currently employed at First Southern National Bank of Statesboro.
The wedding will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Statesboro.
