Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Lauretha) Best of Statesboro announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Rhanti Farr, to Damico Antwyan Palmer, son of Mr. Chris Palmer of Jesup and the late Ms. Daneitha Spaulding.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Norris and Mrs. Rebecca Weston of Savannah. Jessica is a 2001 graduate of Statesboro High and has attended Coastal Junior College in Brunswick and Ogeechee Technical College. She is a 2005 graduate Ogeechee Technical College with a nurse technician certificate. Presently, Jessica is working at Belks Department Store and attends Ogeechee Technical College pursing a degree in Marketing.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. Henry and Mrs. Grace Palmer of Statesboro and the late Mr. Leck and Mrs. Katie Mae Byrd of Statesboro. Damico is a 1996 graduate of Statesboro High School. He is employed with Nash Finch of Statesboro.
The wedding ceremony will be held on July 5, 2008, at 4 p.m. at Snella’s Chapel. The reception will follow immediately after the ceremony at Snella’s.
