The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Carolyn Rountree and the late Mr. Bobby Rountree and Mrs. Lawanda Mock of Sylvania. She is a 2007 graduate of Screven County High School and is currently attending Ogeechee Technical College. She is currently employed as an authorized Alltel agent at Julie's Specialties.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Juanita Morris and the late Mr. J.W. Kirby of Statesboro, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. James R. Brannen Jr. of Statesboro, Ga. He is a 2006 graduate of Screven County High School and is currently employed at Yancey Cat in Statesboro, Ga.
The wedding is planned for 6 p.m. on September 19, 2009, at Jackson Baptist Church in Sylvania, Ga.
