Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lane Armstrong of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Charlotte Elaine, to Michael Wade Elliott, son of the late Donald R. Elliott of Calvert County, Md.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Jim Riley Smith of Jackson, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fink Armstrong of Jackson, Ga. She is a 1994 graduate of Statesboro High School in Statesboro and a 1999 graduate of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, where she received a Bachelor of Science in interior design. She is employed by Ogeechee Technical College.
The groom-elect is a 1990 graduate of Tift County High School in Tifton, Ga., and is a graduate of the University of North Texas, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in financial services. He is employed by Edward Jones Investments.
