The Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department tried something new for Halloween this year. With Splash in the Boro closed for the season, and the sttractions drained of water, the Lazy River became a place for a little Halloween fun. Normally a place where folks relax as they float on a donut-shaped inflatable, the Lazy River was converted to the 'River of Screams.' Stations were set up with creepy clowns, crazed 'killers,' demented doctors and more.
