F1RST Friday's Paw Walk is a doggone good time

Heather Horton and Pepper strut their stuff on the way to winning first place in the small dog category for the dog costume contest during the Paw Walk at the Statesboro Dog Park on March 6, part of the downtown F1RST Friday event.

    Downtown Statesboro went to the dogs on March 6, during the Paw Walk, part of F1RST Friday.

Held at the downtown dog park on East Cherry Street, the event included a doggie costume contest, as well as many dog-themed activities and vendors. 

Taking first place in the small dog category for the dog costume contest was Pepper, with owner Heather Horton. Daisy, with owner Lisa Muldrew, brought home first place in the large dog category.
