The children and grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Edenfield will host a 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, June 29th, at the First Baptist Church in Blitchton, Ga., beginning at 3 p.m. The couple married at the home of the bride’s parents, Mrs. Thelma Kangeter and the late Mr. C.A. “Charlie” Kangeter of Ellabell, on June 29, 1958. The couple has two children, Carl and Connie. Freddie was a Boilermaker with Local #26 for 50 years and retired in 1990. Mildred retired after 30 years as a beautician and former owner/operator of Mildred’s Beauty Shop in Blitchton. The couple enjoys camping, fishing and spending time with their children, grandchildren and friends. Carl and Linda Edenfield of Brooklet, with their children, Blake, Brad and Brooks, and Mike and Connie (Edenfield) Jones of Springfield, along with their children, Shelby and Julia, invite all family and friends to join with them in celebrating this occasion.
