Local Roundup: SHS golf competes at Wayne County

    JESUP — The Statesboro Blue Devils boys and girls golf teams competed in matches on Thursday in a tournament hosted by Wayne County.
    The boys placed third with a team score of 163, edging Richmond HIll (168) in a four-team competition.
    Jordan Woody was the low medalist with a 37 on the day. Trevor Daily (38), CLay Cribbs (41 and Hunter Finch (46 rounded out the SHS scorecard.
    The Lady Blue Devils, led by a Sarah Jane Bowers score of 39, finished second out of three teams.
