Hunter signs with Mars Hill
Nathan Hunter, a senior at Statesboro, signed a national letter of intent to run at Mars Hill College on Wednesday on the campus of SHS. Hunter will join a cross country program that has won the South Atlantic Conference title 11 years running. The Lions compete in Division II and the school is located just north of Asheville, N.C. "I had heard from a lot of colleges," said Hunter. "Mars Hill just really stood out to me. The transition from flat to hills is going to be really great — but I'm looking forward to that. Hopefully it'll push me more and make me stronger."
