ATLANTA — Georgia State has named Charlie Cobb the school's new athletic director. Cobb, who was Appalachian State's athletic director the last nine years, will be introduced at a Friday news conference. Georgia State announced Thursday Cobb has signed a five-year deal, worth $300,000 annually, with an option for an additional two years.
