STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Lewis Robinson Jr., age 80, entered into rest Saturday, April 22, 2023, at his home.

The native of Statesboro was the son of the late Lewis and Elnora Underwood Burns Robinson Sr.

Mr. Robinson received his formal education in the public school system of Bulloch County and attended the William James High School.

He was a former automotive technician and retired from Stringer Tire Company after many years of service.

He was a dedicated member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie Mae Hagins Robinson; siblings, Charles Burns, Jim Burns, Walter Burns, Garfield Burns, Frances Robinson and Alma Burns.

He leaves memories to be cherished by his loving children, Jimmie Robinson, Debra Moore, Lewis Robinson III, all of Statesboro, Ga.; Mary Robinson, Columbus, Ga.; and Kristy (Kevin Lee) Hall, Statesboro, Ga.; 11 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A viewing for Mr. Robinson will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

A celebration of life service for Mr. Lewis Robinson Jr. will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill's Mortuary with the Rev. Arthur Williams officiating.

Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
