STATESBORO -- Mrs. Lula Mae Toby Boyd, 75, entered eternal rest on June 5, 2018, at Candler County Hospital. She was a native of Millen, but had made her home in Statesboro for decades.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mr. Eliza J. Boyd Sr.
Survivors include her four children, Rosezena Toby Redding, Eliza J. Boyd Jr., Lurenza Boyd Sr. and Lorraine J. Boyd, Statesboro, Ga.; grandchildren, Deundre Toby, Tamekia Bradford, Takeya Toby, Eliza J. Boyd III, WaTea Smiley, Shameka Simmons, Megeal Boyd, Michelle Boyd, Chad King, Lurenza Boyd Jr., Carl Boyd, Le’Xavier Lundy, Alexus Allen, La’Deidra Hamilton; a host of great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Angie Mack, Atlanta, Ga.; Husie Toby, Statesboro, Ga.; Shirley Lonon (Tracy) Thomas, Tampa, Fla.; Terry (Lenora) Baitmon and Robert Baitmon, Statesboro, Ga.; Catherine Baitmon, Lizzie Lou Taylor Baitmon, Willie Mae Walton and Eugene "Shep" Baitmon.
The service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church, 4120 Hurricane Branch Church Road, Millen, Georgia.
The family will receive visitors from 7-8 p.m. on Friday at Dwight’s Funeral Home, 326 Old Waynesboro Road, Millen, Georgia.
