Now the Democratic Party’s nominee, James “Major” Woodall entered the general election phase of his campaign to become District 160’s representative in the Georgia General Assembly with a kickoff rally Thursday night. After impending rain prompted organizers to move the rally from the courthouse square down Courtland Street to the Spirit & Truth Worship Center, about 70 people took seats in the sanctuary. Ten scheduled speakers got up to praise Woodall and offer their support.
