Warrants for a man suspected in the murder of a Millen woman Sunday follow an investigation opened by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Region 5 office in Statesboro. The body of Victoria Baird, age unavailable, was found around 5:45 p.m. in her apartment on Tool Court in Millen, said Special Agent-in-Charge Catherine Sapp. Millen police requested GBI assistance after finding Baird deceased on Sunday, Sapp said in a statement released Monday.
