A drug complaint from a citizen ended in two arrests Monday by Bulloch County Drug Suppression Team agents.Sheriff’s investigators had already been searching for Summer Lewis Baird, 27, John R. Coleman Road, for probation violation charges, said Bulloch County Sheriff’s Capt. Rick Rountree.Baird was arrested Monday along with Kathryn Amber Gail Crowe, 18, Pike Road, at Crowe’s home, after drug agents received complaints that Baird was staying in the home without permission from the property owner and that the two women were manufacturing methamphetamine there, he said.After obtaining permission from the property owner to enter the home, investigators took Baird into custody on the outstanding charges. However, after investigating and discovering “components of a methamphetamine lab,” both she and Cone were charged with criminal attempt to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.The latter charge was due to a firearm being found in the home where a crime occurred, he said.Both women were arrested without incident, and taken to the Bulloch County Jail, he said.
