Statesboro police arrested a third man Friday who they say was involved in the March 9 shooting death of a man at The Grove Apartments. Jaime Francisco Perez, 22, of Market 100 Apartments in Statesboro's Market District, is charged with felony murder in connection with the drug-related shooting of Rincon's Deniro Arness Smith at the Brampton Avenue apartment complex, said Statesboro police Deputy Chief Rob Bryan. Police arrested two others on March 17 who are charged in Smith's death: Jaden Thinh Le, 20, of Lanier Drive, and Michael Jay Williams, 24, of Sherwood Court in Rincon.
