Teen charged in molestation case
Daniel Lee Gunn

Bulloch County Sheriff’s investigators arrested a teen Sunday night, charged with several crimes linked to the alleged molestation of his juvenile niece.

Daniel Lee Gunn, 17, remains in jail without bond, charge with aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, incest, and enticing a child for indecent purposes, according to a statement released by Bulloch County Sheriff Noel Brown.

Deputies were called to Westside Mobile Home Park on Hwy. 80 West around 11 p.m. Sunday, where complainants said a “female victim, under the age 10, had been sexually molested by her uncle, who is 17 years of age,” according to the statement.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Inv. Jonathan Fadden was called to the scene, began investigating and questioned several witnesses as well as processed the scene.

Gunn, of a Highway 80 address, was arrested and charged, then taken to the Bulloch County Jail, where he remains without bond, facing further court appearances. The case remains under investigation, and anyone with information may call Fadden at 912-764-1747.
