SFD sells T-shirts to fight breast cancer
Shirts may be purchased at Station 1
SFD Fight Cancer

Help fight breast cancer, and get a cool new T-shirt at the same time by joining the Statesboro Fire Department’s effort to raise funds for local cancer awareness and cure programs.
The department is selling its annual breast cancer awareness T-shirts to the public. The shirts are navy blue with the SFD logo in pink and white on the front, left chest. The back of the shirt features the breast cancer awareness pink ribbon with a firefighter’s nozzle attached to it, along with this year’s slogan “Fighting For A Cure,” according to information from Statesboro firefighter Derek Stoddard.
The same shirts will be worn on duty by firefighting personnel in support of those who are currently battling or have beaten cancer and in remembrance of those who have lost the fight, he said.
Shirts sizes and prices are $10 for Youth XS through Adult XL and $15 for Adult 2XL. Shirts may be purchased at the Statesboro Fire Department’s main office at Station 1, 24 West Grady Street.
