Police Report 7-15-11 - A woman saw a man siphoning gas from vehicles

STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
     Danielle Jaquille Anderson, 20, Chandler Road — theft by shoplifting.
     Alexis Nicole Watson, 19, Chandler Road — theft by shoplifting.
     Shakeyra D’Mosley Hall, 19, Lanier Drive — failure to appear, suspended license.
     Anthony Cooper, 44, Pleasant Avenue — suspended license.

Incidents
     WALMART — Two women were arrested for concealing food items and leaving without paying. Also, an employee was caught on video taking gift cards and cash. No arrest at the time of report.
     UNIVERSITY TIRE — A woman saw a man siphoning gas from vehicles. She provided a description and tag number for the man, but he fled when police located him. Traffic prevented further pursuit.
     HARVEYS/FAIR ROAD — A man scammed a cashier out of $180 by repeatedly asking for change, confusing her.
     UNIVERSITY PINES APARTMENTS — A man reported the theft of a TV, computer monitor, Playstation 3, laptop computer, Xbox 360, iPad, Wii, and several DVDs and games.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests
     Allie Ann Seibert, 23, May Road, Ellabell — truancy.
     Tiesha McNair, 20, East Olliff Street — theft by taking.
     Tobechi Nwaubi, 21, South Edgewood Drive — criminal trespass.

Incidents
     DEPOT DRIVE — (Statesboro) A man said an unknown person knocked on his door, then fled into the woods.
     MAY ROAD — (Ellabell) A man reported the theft of three air conditioners and other items.
     RIVERVIEW ROAD — (Brooklet) A man said a female neighbor “pushed” him in the face, causing injury. The woman said she did not mean to hurt him, but he would not “get out of her face.” No one was arrested in the incident.

     Officers issued nine citations Wednesday.
     Carson C. Grimsley, 22, Mehaffey Road, Midland — DUI, no headlights, and failure to maintain lane.

Incidents
     Officers issued four warnings and nine citations.
     SOUTHERN PINES APARTMENTS — A resident reported a lost wallet.
     UNIVERSITY TIRE — Officers assist Statesboro Police with a theft incident.
