INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    NO CALL LOCATION GIVEN — A woman reported that her juvenile daughter became angry and left around noon Feb. 24. Someone told the mother that a red truck dropped the girl off in the area of Thomas Street in Statesboro, but when the mother spoke to people there, she found no additional information. The Sheriff’s Office listed the juvenile in the Georgia Crime Information Center database as a runaway and issued a be-on-the-lookout.
    SUMMERSIDE ROAD — A bus driver reported seeing a man “unresponsive,” or apparently passed out. The responding deputy found the man and arrested him on a public drunkenness charge and a warrant notice from another county.

Statesboro Police Department
    HIGHWAY 67 — A woman reported that her roommate and two of her roommate’s friends hit her on her head and face area.
    LANIER DRIVE — A resident reported that her neighbor had been yelling at her and calling her profanities. Finding the neighbor “highly intoxicated and yelling very loudly,” police explained the crimes of simple assault and disorderly conduct to him and advised the woman of available remedies.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued one traffic warning and no citations and assisted two motorists.
    WILLIAMS CENTER — A “suspicious person” was reported.
    RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — A theft of unattended property was reported and the report turned over to the department’s investigations division.
