    EL JALAPEÑO  — The business was found in violation of occupancy limits between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday. Statesboro police assisted the Statesboro Fire Department in the compliance check.
    HILL POND LANE — A woman told police around noon Tuesday that she received an unwanted letter from her husband’s ex-wife, which she said was “intimidating in nature” and contained false accusations.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — Two women were arrested around 4:30 p.m. Sunday after shoplifting about $285 worth of clothing, a cellphone charger and $137 worth of personal hygiene items.
    STADIUM PLACE APARTMENTS — A man told police around 8 a.m. Wednesday that he saw an unknown person at his window. A dog crate was found shoved up underneath the window, reports state.
    KMART — Two teens were arrested around
1 p.m. Wednesday for shoplifting an Airsoft (pellet) gun, T-shirts and shorts.

    Matthew Lee Gatch, 25, Bisbee Avenue, Garden City — suspended license, possession of OxyContin, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance.
    Thomas Eual Lewis Jr., 26, Friendship Church Road — disorderly conduct.
    Duane Lavern Deal, 52, Westside Mobile Home Park — probation violation.
    Jordan Lanea Merchant, 25, Parkway Place — battery.
    William Thomas Johnson Jr., 64, Go Bar Landing Road — criminal trespass, obstruction.
    Cameron Zaquan Lewis, 20, Lanier Drive — marijuana possession.
    BULLOCH COUNTY JAIL — Three men were booked into jail around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on warrants stemming from charges from the Georgia Department of Labor for failure to accurately report income while collecting unemployment insurance.
    PONDEROSA ROAD — (Portal) A woman called for assistance from deputies in retrieving her belongings from an ex-boyfriend around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday. When the deputies could not immediately arrive because of other calls, the man reportedly threatened to burn his ex-girlfriend’s items if she did not get them immediately. She went without deputies, an altercation ensued, and the man cracked her windshield and kicked her car, she said.

    Officers issued two traffic violation citations Wednesday.
    Antonio Martrell Owens, 25, Denmark Street — wanted person, obstruction.
    Officers issued one traffic warning and assisted four motorists Wednesday.
